Money Converter or Currency Converter

My friend asking me about money converter. Convert with what? He said that he want to convert USD (United States Dollar) to IDR (Indonesian Rupiah).

Based on dictionary.com, here is the definition of money and currency:

• Money is any circulating medium of exchange, including coins, paper money, and demand deposits.
• Currency is something that is used as a medium of exchange; money.

I though that what my friend want to said is currency converter. Yahoo and XE have currency converter.

I check exchange rates at KlikBCA, or I can get exchange rates information from other websites of Indonesian Banks.

Setting and Installing SMSTools and Huawei E220

I have problem setup smstools and HUAWEI E220 on CentOS 5 at server markas, then Culis did this:

I assume that you already install smstools, download from http://smstools.meinemullemaus.de/

Check USB Device
#cat /proc/bus/usb/devices

Then do this, or you can download
# wget http://www.kanoistika.sk/bobovsky/archiv/umts/huaweiAktBbo-i386.out

Or find the package containing huaweiAktBbo-i386.out here

# ./huaweiAktBbo-i386.out
# rmmod usb-storage

The command above is to change HUAWEI E220 from storage mode to modem mode.

Plug out HUAWEI E220 then plug it in again, then edit /etc/smsd.conf

Participate in Indonesian Election 2009

Today I participate 'nyontreng' in Indonesian Election 2009. My name is registered at TPS XI Ngentakrejo Village, Lendah District, Kulon Progo. Like the estimation from expert, the election process took very long time because too many choice, make the election participants confused.

Tax Reporting Procrastination

Today (30/March/2009) I went to tax office Yogyakartan (North Ring Road Yogyakarta) to send hardcopy of my personal tax report. Like previous year, tax office (kantor pajak, hehehe) very busy with people queue that want to report their income tax. Luckily, I'm in Wates area, almost no queue because very small amount of people have NPWP. Top busiest queue are in Sleman and Yogyakarta area.

Jerry's Story about Optimism and Positive Thinking

Jerry is the kind of guy you love to hate. He is always in a good mood and always has something positive to say.

When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would reply : "If I were any better, I would be twins !"

He was a unique manager because he had several waiters who had followed him around from restaurant to restaurant. The reason the waiters followed Jerry was because of his attitude. He was a natural motivator. If an employee was having a bad day, Jerry was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation.

Seeing this style really made me curious, so one day I went up to Jerry and asked him : "I don't get it ! You can't be a positive person all of the time. How do you do it?"
